— Honoring Steve and Candy LeVangie, Parents ’98 ’02 and Family —

Join us for A Night for NDA as we celebrate the strength of our community and come together to support Notre Dame Academy. We will raise funds to help continue to support hearts, minds, and voices, and we will honor the LeVangie Family with the Billiart Leadership Award for their work to further the mission of NDA.

You will have the chance to support the Billiart Leadership Institute (BLI) which is at the heart of the work we do to develop real-life leadership shaped by the Hallmarks of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur.

Our special emcee for the evening is Francesca Federico from the NDA Class of 2006.

About the LeVangie Family

NDA is delighted to honor the LeVangie Family with the Billiart Leadership Award – our highest honor. Steve and Candy LeVangie’s dedication has spanned over thirty years, beginning when their daughters Laura ’98 and Angela ’02 were students. The LeVangies have been avid supporters of all things NDA: academics, clubs, and athletics. The family has deep NDA roots with Steve’s nieces, Tara ’15 and Shannon ’20, also being proud graduates.

Steve served on NDA’s Board of Directors for twelve years, most recently as co-Chair of the Finance and Facilities Committee. During his board tenure and continuing today, Steve has shared his expertise and insights. He has advised NDA on various infrastructure projects, including the athletic turf and Class of 2019 Amphitheater. His guidance has been essential to the safe and effective operations of our school.

Steve and Candy believe deeply in the value of NDA’s all-girls Catholic education shaped by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur and commend the leadership skills this singular experience developed in their daughters. They found NDA to be a transformative experience for Laura and Angela, who are strong and caring mothers, professionals, and community members.

We are deeply grateful to the LeVangie Family for their dedication and generosity to NDA.

Event Emcee, Francesca Federico '06

Francesca Federico ’06 co-founded and serves as President of Twelve Points, a nationally recognized financial services firm. Francesca works with families and individuals, especially women and business owners, to plan and manage their financial lives. She also helps businesses and firms of all sizes with their corporate retirement plans.

Francesca has received numerous professional distinctions, including from Inc. 5000, NAPA, Financial Times, Boston Business Journal, The Boston Globe for her work as a wealth advisor and 401k advisor.

She is deeply committed to the community. Francesca co-founded Marisa’s Mission, a non-profit that honors her cousin, who lost her battle with cancer in 2016. In addition, she is on the boards of the Light Foundation and Mass Restaurants United. She is the leader of many Boston-area networking groups in Boston, including Tomorrow’s Women Today, Boston Women’s Leadership Council, and USA500 Clubs. Francesca also mentors college women and emerging female leaders to encourage them to achieve their goals and give back to the community.

This special evening will be held at the exclusive Black Rock Country Club in Hingham. The event will begin with a hosted bar on the veranda overlooking the golf course, followed by a plated dinner featuring a DJ and student entertainment. There will be opportunities to support NDA and a nightcap with dessert and cordials.

When we look at our students, their smiling faces fill us with hope for a better tomorrow. NDA’s Billiart Leadership Institute (BLI) offers real-life resources — from a speaker series to classroom seminars to global travel — shaped by the Hallmarks of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. BLI helps prepares each girl for a life that will make a difference in the world around us.
