Emerging Leaders
Tuesday, April 29 | 10:00 a.m.

Billiart Leadership Institute presents Emerging Leaders to the Class of 2025 on Tuesday, April 29 at 10:00 a.m. This is the last event of the year in our BLI speaker series. We are welcoming three panelists from Harvard Business School: Caroline Kenneally, NDA class of 2013, Ava Rosati, and Caroline Sabatt, NDA class of 2008. Seniors will have an opportunity to hear each panelists' story and ask questions to help shape the next chapter in their educational journey.

 
Senior Address Submissions Due Wednesday, April 30

We are excited to continue our tradition of a selecting a member of the graduating class to deliver the Senior Address. All Seniors are invited to submit an essay of no longer than 10-minutes spoken (between 800 – 1,000 words). This is an opportunity to share in an honor that will be remembered for a lifetime. Submissions are due to Mr. Brendan McKiernan by April, 30.

 

Polo Signing and Kilt Painting Day
Thursday, May 1

Polo Signing: Write your name (and your college name if you’d like) on the back of one of your NDA polos and bring it to the gym when you arrive on campus Thursday morning. Throughout the day, during flex, free periods and lunch, you can stop by and sign your classmate’s polos.
Kilt Painting: Bring your kilt, and a copy of your college logo. We will provide paints and brushes. This will take place outside. Head outside when you have a free period or during lunch.

 

St. Julie Liturgy, Senior Award Program, and Senior Prom
Friday, May 2

We will gather as a whole school to celebrate the Seniors with our St. Julie Liturgy at 9:45 a.m., celebrated by Fr. Oscar Pratt, followed immediately by the Senior Awards Program. Senior parents are invited to the St. Julie Liturgy and Awards Program. We will end the day with an evening of dinner and dancing at the Senior Prom, Granite Links, 6:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

 

 

Senior Letters Due Thursday, May 8
Family members and friends of the Class of 2025 are invited to write affirming cards, letters, or prayers to our graduating students, which will be distributed during their retreat. Letters such as these are often referred to as palanca from the Spanish word for lever, as they are intended to lift up the recipients. Please deliver your senior letters to NDA’s main office with the student’s first and last name clearly labeled, no later than Thursday, May 8.

 

Senior Parent/Guardian Social
Tuesday, May 13, 2025 | 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Parents and guardians of seniors are invited to join fellow senior parents and NDA leadership for a farewell reception. The event will take place at Notre Dame Academy, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Please RSVP here with your name, number of guests (two guests per family), and email.

 

Senior Retreat & Rehearsal
Wednesday, May 14, 2025 | 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Senior Retreat: 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Meet in the Chapel. Bring a beach towel to sit on. Attire is casual, dress down.
Senior Class Ribbon Cutting: 11:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. We will meet in the Main Foyer to celebrate the Class of 2025 gift. With the tremendous generosity of the senior class, we will officially dedicate this space with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.  
Lunch and Baccalaureate Mass & Graduation Rehearsal: 12:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

 

Baccalaureate Mass and Medallion Ceremony
Thursday, May 15, 2025 | 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Graduates should arrive in their white dress by 4:00 p.m. Enter through Door D and check in at the St. Julie Center. Baccalaureate and Graduation footwear: All shoes should be white or nude dress shoes or dress sandals, appropriate for walking on the lawn. Please no athletic shoes or flip flops. 

 

Commencement
Friday, May 16, 2025 | 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Graduates should arrive by 4:00 p.m. in their white dress, dress shoes and NDA Medallion. Enter through Door D and check in at the St. Julie Center. Graduates will pick up their cords in the St. Julie Center before Commencement.
