Once again, 100% of NDA’s graduates are headed to colleges and universities across the country. The schools the Class of 2024 will be attending include Boston College, Holy Cross, New York University, Colgate, Cornell, Northeastern, Wake Forest, West Point, UCLA, University of Virginia, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, and Vanderbilt.

NDA is always thrilled to participate in Hingham’s annual 4^th of July parade. This year, we were especially honored to be voted “Best in Parade.” Our remarkable sunflower-filled float celebrated our state championships, student athletes, scholars, and artists as well as faculty, staff, and coaches.

The South Shore's girls golfers brought their best in the 2024 spring season.

So much so, this year's list of All-Scholastic nominees looks very similar to last year's.

Four of the seven -- Duxbury's Harper Capilli, Notre Dame Academy's Jillian Johnson, and Hingham's Lauren Weber and Rebecca Kardoos -- are repeat selections. All but Kardoos were seniors this spring, so expect a a bit of a shake-up come 2025.

At our Night for NDA Gala on May 9, three awards were presented to individuals who have given much to help the school live out St. Julie’s vow to prepare girls for life.

“Tell Me What Is It You Plan to Do with Your One Wild and Precious Life?”

With this question, President Annemarie Lynch Kenneally, ’80. P’13, ‘15 set in motion her remarks to the Class of 2024. She recalled quoting this line from the poet Mary Oliver in her first letter of the school year, knowing then that she would circle back to it in May. “Commencement isn’t an ending,” she told the class. “It’s a celebration of a new beginning — your new beginning.”

As the school year comes to an end, The Pilot congratulates all the members of the Class of 2024 who graduated from Catholic high schools within the Archdiocese of Boston. This year's roundup of commencement exercises is presented alphabetically by school.
