2020-21 Scholarship Applications

Deadline: Monday, February 1, 2021

There are nine scholarships which require essay applications. Please review the criteria below to see if you are a potential candidate and click on the links to submit the application and upload your essay. Scholarships generally do not exceed $1,500.

The NDA Boosters Scholarship is awarded annually to two student-athletes in their junior year who best exemplify the program’s belief in a “Christ-like attitude above winning at any cost.”

Erin and Allison Darling Scholarship – This scholarship is awarded to current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors from Pembroke.

Catherine H. Doyle Memorial Scholarship - The recipient of this scholarship is chosen from applicants from the current junior class who possess a love of literature.

Paul and Helen Ganley Scholarship is awarded to a current freshman, sophomore, or junior student who is in good academic standing who has an affinity for English, world languages, or mathematics.

Brian Gaughan Memorial Scholarship – Current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors living in Scituate or Marshfield.

Will McDonough Scholarship – Members of the current junior class who participate on one or more sports teams.

The Regina D. Merenda Scholarship is awarded to current sophomores and juniors with financial need who are involved in one or more aspects of Notre Dame’s Visual and Performing Arts program, including art, music, and drama.

Kristen Mooney Willer ’88 Legacy Scholarship - In Memory of Kristen Mooney Willer ’88, this scholarship will support a student who is academically committed and maintains a 3.3 GPA.

Jessica Bradbury Adams ’97 Scholarship - Jess Adams was a beloved NDA coach, mentor, alumna, and friend. This scholarship will support an NDA junior athlete who gives back to her community, exhibits qualities of a mentor to other student-athletes and demonstrates sportsmanship on and off the playing field.

Scholarship recipients will be notified by mail by end of March.

Please note that NDA awards a number of additional scholarships that do not require applications. Recipients for those scholarships are chosen by the Academy’s Scholarship Committee and are based on the criteria established by the benefactor of each fund.
