Immersion Experiences
Campus Ministry offers a variety of Immersion Experiences to support our students' spiritual development. In recent years we have offered the following:
Teach-In for Social Justice Conference is a 3-day trip in November to Washington, D.C. where students learn about a wide variety of social justice issues, and advocate for policy change. We plan on offering this Immersion every other year.
The Respect All Life Immersion trip takes place in January. Students learn about the poor, the marginalized, the oppressed, and the unborn through various programs, organizations, museums, historical sites, and marches around Washington, D.C.
The Romero Center Ministries in Camden, NJ, is where students experience the complexities of the cycle of poverty in an urban setting. We plan on offering this program every other year.
Gospel Road takes place around the greater Boston area. We connect with our sister school, Notre Dame Cristo Rey in Lawrence to participate together in outreach. We also connect with agencies around the South Shore to learn more about social services and the need for continued involvement.
