The 1804 Challenge

Founded in 1804, the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur exist due to an improbable friendship between St. Julie Billiart and Françoise Blin de Bourdon. Through this special bond a deep commitment to educating young women was born.

President Annemarie Lynch Kenneally '80 P'13 '15 kicked off an exciting new initiative this year called The 1804 Challenge – were the Academy has set a goal of 1,804 donations for the year. Thank you to the 98 alumnae who have already made a financial gift to the Fund for NDA. To make your contribution and continue the mission of Saint Julie and Françoise of educating women with hearts as wide as the word please click here.

Giving Tuesday, the national day of giving, is Tuesday, November 27. Be sure to keep your eyes open for exciting opportunities to participate in this national movement and support NDA.
