September 12, 2018 Dear Alumnae, On September 6th, we opened school by celebrating one of our foundresses, Francoise Blin de Bourdon at a liturgy in her honor. Her story represents the heart of our NDA community. Francoise referred to St. Julie as "my dear friend in the Lord," and it was through this special friendship that a deep commitment to educating young women was born. This legacy lives on today in the global network of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, the DNA of NDA, who are dedicated to equipping students with whatever is necessary for life. It lives on here, at 1073 Main Street every year we open school and engage more young women, faculty, staff, and parents in our community, And it lives on in our vast Alumnae network whose 6,000 members are as far as Australia and as close as our classrooms and administrative offices. As witnesses to the power of community and friendships to accomplish extraordinary things, we begin our 165th year with gratitude, optimism, and many, many friends. Best, Annemarie Lynch Kenneally '80 P'13 '15

Grow Your Faith
This year, we are excited to offer additional opportunities to grow in our faith through the celebration of Mass. In addition to our Liturgies marking important events on the school calendar (for example, Heritage Day and our Advent Liturgy) we will now celebrate Mass on Holy Days which fall during the week and on the first Friday of every month. Alumnae are welcome to join these community celebrations.
Be sure to check the school calendar for dates and times.
We are also hosting First Friday Rosary. Any member is welcome to join us at 7:15 a.m. in the Chapel. The mission of the group is to pray for any special intentions of the NDA community. We provide extra rosaries and prayer cards for individuals to follow along with. For more information, please contact Director of Campus Ministry Michelle Kelley.
You can also submit a prayer request here.
