Athletics
NDA is known for high standards in athletics and academics. Our exceptional student-athletes work with experienced coaches who prepare our teams for competition while building a strong sense of community.
Since 1983, we have won 42 state championships. While we are proud of this record, there is something even more important to us: the knowledge that everyone in our athletics program shares the same strong set of values — those informed by the Hallmarks of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur to prepare girls for life.
Our program also helps athletes progress to the next level in their athletic development. This year, eight of our graduating seniors signed letters of intent to continue their athletic careers in college.
With 19 sports and 35 teams over three seasons, participation in athletics continues to expand each year. Our program has grown as we work to ensure that all girls who want to participate in athletics can find a spot on a team.
In 31 of the last 38 years, The Boston Globe has honored NDA with the Neil Singelais Award for having the highest winning percentage while displaying admirable sportsmanship.
No matter the season, there is always a great show of community support from students, families, friends, faculty and staff. Our athletes love to feel the energy from all the NDA super fans who come to cheer them on
