Dance
Inspiring a Love of Dance
Through dance, girls discover their voice, express creativity, and gain confidence.
Notre Dame Academy has a new partnership with Hingham’s South Shore Ballet Theatre (SBBT).
The partnership reflects our ongoing development of programming that nurtures artistic, physical, and personal development.
All interested students are welcome, from novices to experienced dancers.
NDA Offerings
SSBT is planning to offer classes at NDA exploring ballet, jazz, modern dance, and dance history. Coursework kicks off this year with 6th grade dance classes which explore how music influences movement and how movement communicates ideas and emotion.
After school, we offer students the opportunity to take an Introduction to Ballet class at SSBT. This class is exclusively for NDA students.
