STEM
We are living in a rapidly changing age of technology. It will shape the future. With NDA’s STEM program, our girls will be ready.
NDA’s STEM program offers each girl — from middle school through high school — the opportunity to explore technology. Through early and ongoing engagement with STEM, students grow as creators and collaborative problem-solvers.
“No matter what girls dream of and no matter what career they pursue, an understanding of technology is essential.”
Anne Marie Clogston, ’87, P ’20, ’22, ’24
Chair, Department of Computer Technology Studies, NDA Cougears Robotic Coach
STEM integrates science, technology, engineering, mathematics — as well as the arts. Students actively make connections across the curriculum as they explore coding, programming, data science, artificial intelligence, digital design, engineering, and more. The program reflects the mission of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur as students examine complex ethical issues stemming from technological advances.
Through STEM, students develop the insights and skills needed to live a life of purpose as critical thinkers, innovators, and ethical decision-makers.
