NDA’s STEM program offers each girl — from middle school through high school — the opportunity to explore technology. Through ongoing engagement with STEM, students grow as creators and collaborative problem-solvers.
Notre Dame Academy's new Teixeira Family Innovation Center is open! The innovation center is for all students, allowing them to generate ideas across the curriculum in computer science, robotics, language, and visual design programs. The innovation center includes a computer lab, recording studio, and engineering lab with a dedicated robotics space for the NDA Cougears. The space empowers NDA girls to imagine, collaborate, and grow in a world where technology is accelerating rapidly.
In NDA’s innovation center, computer science students read instructions, code, test, and debug all on one screen. Architecture students benefit from high-end modeling software. Yearbook editors see entire pages of design and layouts on screen. With access to a range of tools and technology, from 3D printers to power tools, NDA girls think big!

STEM integrates science, technology, engineering, mathematics — as well as the arts. Students make connections across the curriculum, exploring coding, data science, artificial intelligence, digital design, engineering, and more.
Through STEM, students develop the insights and skills needed to live a life of purpose as critical thinkers, innovators, and ethical decision-makers.
