Annually, IB students send exam results to higher education institutions in nearly 90 countries. According to IB research, Diploma students in the US are significantly more likely to attend a 'selective' or 'highly selective' institution compared to the average US college-goer.

What is the International Baccalaureate?

The International Baccalaureate is a globally recognized curriculum of Swiss origin aimed at developing internationally-minded, life-long learners through inquiry, action and reflection. There are 4,200 IB schools worldwide, and 11 Notre Dame IB schools worldwide.Their flagship curriculum is the Diploma Programme (IB DP) for juniors and seniors. The IB DP is an academically rigorous and enriching curriculum where students focus on depth of study over breadth of topic. Over two years, students take a series of assessments which contribute to their potential to earn an IB Diploma in addition to their NDA Diploma. This prestigious distinction opens international doors for students as they embark on their university journey.
