Strategic Plan

Inspiring Billiart Leaders

Notre Dame Academy was founded by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur in 1853. Since then, the wisdom of St. Julie Billiart and the Hallmarks of Sisters have been at the heart of our school as we look to what matters most—Learning, Mission, People and Place, and Extended CommunityOur strategic plan establishes a clear set of strategic pillars that lift up all we hold important. These priorities provide lasting focus as we we offer a transformation educational experience that prepares our girls to be Billiart Leaders, while we prepare for the demands of the future.

Learning

LEARNING THAT PREPARES GIRLS FOR LIFE
We educate well-rounded students who are confident critical thinkers informed by the values of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. Our learning experience is built on excellence in education, athletics, arts, STEM, and co-curricular offerings which prepare girls to thrive throughout life.

Mission

TRANSFORMATIVE POWER OF MISSION
St. Julie Billart founded the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur in1804. Her wisdom has been at the heart of our school's mission for over 172 years. NDA offers a transformational student experience  informed by Billiart leadership, the Hallmarks of the Sisters, and Catholic faith formation.

People and Place

EDUCATION ROOTED IN PEOPLE AND PLACE
We celebrate our faculty and staff whose work inspires NDA’s exceptional education. Together we live the NDA mission today and tomorrow, as we plan to achieve our aspirations by re-imagining our campus for future collaboration and connections.

Extended Community

OUR EXTENDED COMMUNITY LIFTS US UP
We stand on the shoulders of over 6,000 remarkable alumnae as well as dedicated friends. We continue to build partnerships with our extended NDA family to enrich the transformational learning experience we provide.

Our Path Forward

At Notre Dame Academy, we remain firmly grounded in St. Julie Billiart’s mission to prepare girls for life. This mission is as relevant now as it was when our school opened in 1853. Our strategic plan calls us to deepen what makes NDA exceptional. It affirms our mission to educate young women who are lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and open-minded, Billiart leaders. This plan invites reflection and renewal so our community will thrive, always looking to make the world a better place.

With the principles of Learning, Mission, People and Place, and Extended Community as our guide, our school will move forward with confidence. NDA will embrace new ideas and continue to shape a future rooted in the wisdom of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur.
