The school’s next principal must be a well-qualified educator who can oversee NDA’s educational experience while carrying forward its mission as a school sponsored by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. The search process to identify the next principal will be informed by input from a broad cross-section of the NDA community. The Opportunity

The Principal is the primary educational leader of the school directly responsible to and reporting to the President concerning the daily operation of the school, including all facets of the student educational experience, academic programming, guidance and counseling, student life, campus ministry, co-curriculars as well as programming to maintain a superior student experience. The Principal attracts, retains, and manages a team of dedicated administrators and teachers to ensure high quality development and implementation of curriculum and programming around a shared sense of academic excellence, faith, community, and purpose.

Search Partners

Given our focus on an intensive, thorough, and collaborative process, we have engaged the search firm Narwhal Talent Partners to assist the search committee. The firm focuses on recruitment for leadership roles in independent and Catholic secondary schools and cultivates a broad and extensive network of school contacts to build awareness and interest in our search.  The firm has recently assisted NDA with recruiting to fill key leadership roles and its familiarity with NDA will facilitate the process moving forward successfully.  Narwhal’s consultants will develop relationships with potential candidates and plan to meet with key representatives from our community.
