A Letter from Our President

Welcome to Notre Dame Academy.

NDA is a happy community where young women with open minds and hearts find nourishment for the intellect and the spirit. We are an academic community where dialogue, research, and experience are at the heart of the learning process. We are also a faith community where the pursuit of truth is encouraged.

Our teachers and staff are not only academic professionals but role models and mentors as well. They are life long learners and active members of their communities. They are side by side with our students in the libraries and laboratories as well as in the soup kitchens and women’s shelters.

I am proud to be an alumna of this great school where, for over 155 years, young women have been encouraged to reach their potential as the creation of our good God. To my sister alumnae, know that this is your home and you are always welcome here. To our students and parents, we are grateful for your presence and encourage your active participation in the NDA community.
